Monday, October 13, 2025, is Indigenous Peoples’ / Columbus Day – a state and federal holiday.

However, to ensure access to your cargo, all Port of Virginia terminals will observe normal, posted operating hours (click the link) for container operations** on Monday, October 13th.

** Note:

  • If you are a breakbulk, out-of-gauge, and/or container freight station customer, please be advised that cargo operations at NIT, NNMT and VIG, will be CLOSED on Monday, October 13th.
