Monday, May 25th, is Memorial Day, a state and federal holiday. As we approach the Memorial Day weekend, we honor the memories of our countrymen and countrywomen, who made the ultimate sacrifice to ensure our freedom.
The Port of Virginia will observe the following operating plan:
All Port of Virginia truck gates will be CLOSED for Memorial Day, Monday, May 25th.
Thursday, May 21st
- The Empty Return matrix for Tuesday, May 26th and Wednesday, May 27th will be posted and released after 1500 hours
Friday, May 22nd
- 0900 hours – Window opens for confirming Tuesday, May 26th and Wednesday, May 27th reservations via PRO-PASS
- No posting of the Empty Return matrix
- Reservation creation and editing, via the PRO-PASS website, will be unavailable from 1700 hours on Friday, May 22nd, until 0800 hours on Monday, May 25th
Monday, May 25th – Memorial Day
- Truck gates – CLOSED
- At 0800 hours, PRO-PASS reservations can now be made, edited and validated for Tuesday, May 26th and Wednesday, May 27th
- Reservation creation and editing, via the PRO-PASS website, will be unavailable from 1700 hours on Monday, May 25th, until 0500 hours on Tuesday, May 26th
- The Empty Return matrix for Thursday, May 28th will be posted and released after 1500 hours
Tuesday, May 26th
- Observing regular posted hours (click the link) at all terminals and support facilities
- 0900 hours – Window opens for confirming Thursday, May 28th reservations via PRO-PASS
- The Empty Return matrix for Friday, May 29th will be posted and released after 1500 hours
