In the second half of January, there are two holidays you should be aware of:
- Monday, January 15, is Martin Luther King (MLK) Jr.’s actual birthday and is observed on Monday, as per ILA contract and by the state and federal governments
- Wednesday, January 17, is ILA Memorial Day – a holiday, per the ILA contract
We are pleased to announce that all Port of Virginia terminals and support facilities will be open and operating on both dates – Jan. 15 and 17 – normal business hours.
