In June 2020, the Commonwealth of Virginia officially established Juneteenth (June 19) as a state holiday.
The Port of Virginia will observe the following holiday in June:
- Juneteenth – Wednesday, June 19, 2024
However, to ensure access to your cargo, all Port of Virginia terminals, and supporting facilities, will open, observing normal operating hours for container operations on Wednesday, June 19th.**
**Note:
- NNMT Breakbulk/OOG operations will remain open
- NIT and VIG Breakbulk/OOG/CFS operations will be closed on Wednesday, June 19
