Navis N4 Upgrade at Norfolk International Terminal (NIT) & Saturday Gate – October 21, 2023

As we continue to optimize port operations, we are pleased to announce another step forward at Norfolk International Terminal (NIT).

On Saturday, October 21, our Team will execute an important update to the Navis N4 terminal operating system (TOS).

Please be advised of the following:

1. The Saturday gate program for Saturday, October 21 will be as follows:
   • Truck gates at Norfolk International Terminal (NIT) South will open at 0800 hours with an 1100 portal closure
     • PRO-PASS reservations will open at 0900 hours on Thursday, Oct. 19
     • NIT North, including the North Gate, will be closed on Saturday, Oct. 21
     • Reservation creation and editing, via the PRO-PASS website, will be unavailable for NIT only, from 2000 hours on Friday, Oct. 20, until 0800 hours on Saturday morning, Oct. 21
2. Virginia International Gateway (VIG) Saturday gate program will remain unchanged, with truck gates opening at 0800 hours with a 1600 portal closure.
3. The Portsmouth Chassis Yard (PCY) will open at 0800 hours, with last trucks handled at 1630 hours
4. Pinner’s Point Container Yard (PPCY) and Reefer Service Area (RSA) will remain closed
