In observance of the 2023 Thanksgiving holiday, The Port of Virginia is pleased to announce the following operating schedule:
Tuesday, Nov. 21
- Observing regular posted hours at all terminals and support facilities
- 0900 hours – Window opens for confirming Friday, Nov. 24, reservations via PRO-PASS
- The Empty Return Matrix for Saturday, Nov. 25 will be posted and released after 1500
Wednesday, Nov. 22
- Observing regular posted hours at all terminals and support facilities
- 0900 hours – Window opens for confirming Saturday, Nov. 25, reservations via PRO-PASS
- The Empty Return Matrix for Monday, Nov. 27 will be posted and released after 1500
- HARD STOP for all terminal activities at 2359 hours
- PRO-PASS reservations cannot be made, edited or validated after 2000 hours on Nov. 22, until 0700 hours on Nov. 24
Thursday, Nov. 23 – Thanksgiving Day
- By contract – ILA restricted holiday
- All terminals and administrative offices – CLOSED
- PRO-PASS reservations cannot be made, edited or validated until 0700 hours on Nov. 24
Friday, Nov. 24
- 0600 hours truck gates OPEN at PPCY, PCY and RSA
- PPCY, PCY and RSA last empty container delivery/pick-up – last in-gate truck at 1730 hours
- 0700 hours truck gates OPEN at NIT and VIG
- PRO-PASS reservations can now be made, edited and validated
- NIT and VIG inbound portal closure at 1700 hours
- Standard mandatory reservation hours are in effect
- 0900 hours – Window opens for confirming Monday, Nov. 27, reservations via PRO-PASS
- The Empty Return Matrix for Tuesday, Nov. 28 and Wednesday, Nov. 29 will be posted and released after 1500
- NNMT, RMT and VIP – observing regular posted hours
