In observance of the 2022 Thanksgiving holiday, The Port of Virginia is pleased to announce the following operating schedule:
Wednesday, Nov. 23
- Observing regular posted hours at all terminals and support facilities
- 0900 hours – Window opens for confirming Saturday, Nov. 26, TRS reservations via PRO-PASS
- The Empty Return Matrix for Monday, Nov. 28 will be posted and released after 1500
- HARD STOP for all terminal activities at 2359 hours
- TRS reservations cannot be made, edited or validated after 1900 hours on Nov. 23, until 0700 hours on Nov. 25
Thursday, Nov. 24 – Thanksgiving Day
- By contract – ILA restricted holiday
- All terminals and administrative offices – CLOSED
- TRS reservations cannot be made, edited or validated until 0700 hours on Nov. 25
Friday, Nov. 25
- 0700 hours truck gates OPEN at VIG, NIT, PPCY, PCY and RSA
- TRS reservations can now be made, edited and validated
- NIT inbound portal closure at 1700 hours
- VIG inbound portal closure at 1800 hours
- PPCY, PCY and RSA last empty container delivery/pick-up – last in-gate truck at 1830 hours
- Standard TRS mandatory hours are in effect
- 0900 hours – Window opens for confirming Monday, Nov. 28, TRS reservations via PRO-PASS
- The Empty Return Matrix for Tuesday, Nov. 29 and Wednesday, Nov. 30 will be posted and released after 1500
- NNMT, RMT and VIP – observing regular posted hours
- Administrative offices – CLOSED
Saturday, Nov. 26
- 0800 hours truck gates OPEN at NIT, VIG, PPCY, PCY and RSA
- NIT and VIG inbound portal closure at 1100 hours
- PPCY, PCY and RSA last empty container delivery/pick-up – last in-gate truck at 1130 hours
- Standard TRS mandatory hours are in effect
Sunday, Nov. 27
- All terminal truck gates closed
Monday, Nov. 28
- 0500 hours truck gates OPEN at NIT, VIG, PPCY, PCY and RSA
